Making climate action as easy as subscribing to a streaming service, that’s the idea behind PLANTED. The startup from Cologne, Germany plants trees (currently in Hessen) and reduces harmful CO₂ emissions. I know the planters and worked together with them. In February 2021 we took part in ClimateHack, a hackathon by ClimateFounders.

Reforestation at “Hohe Wurzel” in Hessen, headed by “climate forester” Jan, was covered in German FR newspaper and on n-tv television.

Planted offers subscriptions to support environmental projects. Consumer plans start with small amounts, while corporate customers can use PLANTED to compensate CO₂ emissions caused their business travel and transportation.
